About Georgia
She has had over 16 years hands-on experience with newborns and teaught for 5 years at University of California SF Medical Center, California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She presently teaches at UCSF Medical Center, Kaiser and Marin General hospitals. Georgia's philosophy is simple and direct: family education centered on creating a healthy baby and healthy family. In order to help provide education and resources for parents-to-be, Georgia founded Marin Birthing and Parenting. Through that organization, Georgia has piloted an education program with the generous assistance of Heller's for Children, which provides space for Infant/Child CPR Choke-Saving and Safety. She also piloted an education program for Adoption Connection in San Francisco to help adoptive parents with their first-time parenting issues.
